Lovely blue eosin glaze vase by Zsolnay Hungary. The vase bears the Zsolnay printed stamp. The Zsolnay factory was established in 1853. Zsolnay ceramics are noted for the Eosin process that was introduced in 1893. The eosin based glaze became a favourite of Art Nouveau and jugendstil artists, it gives the porcelain an appearance of iridescent metallic colours that change with the angle of reflection.
In good condition sins of wear and use commensurate with age no restoration
